ceramic nativities

These unique nativities are made in a small family-owned ceramic workshop specializing in original ethnic creches. This workshop takes advantage of the sunny climate of Arequipa, Peru. Each piece is poured into a mold to dry in the sun, then unmolded, cleaned, sanded smooth, kiln-baked and painted by the artists. These fair trade Christmas decor items make memorable gifts.
